A major WWI memorial mountain with multiple paved approach roads. The ossuary at the summit commemorates 23,000 fallen soldiers. Popular cycling destination with approaches from Bassano, Romano d'Ezzelino, and Semonzo.

One of the steepest road climbs in professional cycling with sustained 22% gradients on the Ovaro side. A feared Giro d'Italia summit finish. Ski station at the top.
