High Cottian Alps pass linking the Valle Stura (Demonte, via the Vallone dell’Arma) with the Val Grana (Castelmagno and Pradleves). A legendary Giro d’Italia climb, also known as Colle dei Morti, with a Marco Pantani memorial at the summit. Very narrow single-track road with rough, frost-damaged asphalt.
